Terms of Service

Cartographer's Company, by IckyAppBuilds ("we", "us"). Effective date: 23 October 2026.

By creating an account or playing Cartographer's Company (the "Game"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, if higher). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. One person may keep one account, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.

2. Your account and progress

Your progress is stored in your account so you can play on several devices. We work to keep it safe but cannot promise that it will never be lost. You can delete your account at any time in the Game (Company, then Account, then Delete account), which permanently removes your progress and purchases. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

3. Virtual items and purchases

Gold, shards, Legend, relics, tiles, skins and other items in the Game are virtual items with no cash value. They are licensed to you, not sold, and you cannot trade or sell them outside the Game. Where paid items are offered, prices are shown before you buy, purchases are processed by the app store or payment provider you use, and their refund rules apply. Except where the law gives you a right to a refund, purchases are final. We may change item prices, contents and balance at any time. If we reset progress during testing, any items obtained during the test period may be removed.

4. Rewarded ads

The Game may offer optional rewarded ads in exchange for in-game bonuses. Watching ads is always your choice. Ads and rewards may be unavailable at times. Do not use bots, scripts or other tricks to trigger ads or rewards.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: cheat, exploit bugs or tamper with the Game or its data; use automation or modified clients; attempt to access other players' accounts or our systems; reverse engineer the Game except where the law allows; harass others; or use the Game for anything unlawful. We may remove progress gained through cheating or exploits.

6. Our content

The Game, including its code, art, music, text and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play the Game for your own entertainment. Some of the Game's artwork was created with the help of AI tools.

7. Availability and changes

The Game is provided as is and may change, pause or end at any time, including features, items and servers. We try to give notice of major changes but do not promise uninterrupted service.

8. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, we provide the Game "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost progress, items or profits. Our total liability to you for any claim about the Game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state and federal courts located in Illinois, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the effective date and notify you in the Game or by email. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
